Terms of Use
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These General Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”) constitute a binding standard-form agreement entered into between the Provider, identified below, and the natural person who registers on the Bee Do It Platform (the “User”), and comprehensively govern the conditions for accessing, licensing and using the software, the cloud services and all related features. Ticking the corresponding checkbox on the sign-up form, authenticating through a third-party identity provider or merely using the Platform constitutes a free, express, informed and unequivocal acceptance of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral and inseparable part of them. If the User does not agree with any of the provisions set out herein, the User must refrain from completing the registration and from using the Platform.
1. Definitions and rules of interpretation
1.1. For the purposes of these Terms, the words and expressions below, when capitalised, in the singular or plural, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this clause, without prejudice to other definitions contained in the body of this instrument.
1.2. “Platform” or “Bee Do It”: the whole formed by the web application accessible through a browser, the desktop applications distributed for the Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS operating systems, the programming interfaces, the databases, the functions executed on cloud infrastructure and all software components, libraries, graphic assets, texts and other elements comprising them, in all their versions, updates, fixes and developments.

1.15. “Parties”: the Provider and the User, jointly; “Party”, either of them, individually.
1.16. Clause headings are for reference only and neither limit nor extend the scope of the provisions to which they refer. References to statutory provisions include their subsequent amendments, consolidations and implementing regulations.
1.17. In the event of conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy with regard to the processing of personal data, the Privacy Policy shall prevail; in all other matters, these Terms shall prevail. In case of doubt as to the interpretation of any clause, the interpretation most favourable to the consumer User shall prevail, pursuant to Article 47 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and to the equivalent rules of the User’s jurisdiction.
2. Identification of the Provider and acceptance of the Terms
2.1. The Platform is made available by [A PREENCHER], registered under number [A PREENCHER], domiciled or with registered office at [A PREENCHER], in compliance with Article 2 of Brazilian Decree No. 7,962/2013 and with the equivalent rules on the identification of information society service providers.
2.2. The User support channel, for questions, requests, complaints, the exercise of data subject rights, withdrawal requests and any other communications relating to the Platform, is the email address suporte@beedoit.app.
2.3. Acceptance of these Terms occurs when the User ticks the checkbox “I have read and accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy” and completes the registration or, where applicable, completes authentication through a third-party identity provider. The Provider keeps an electronic record of the date and time of acceptance, which may be used as evidence in accordance with Applicable Law.
2.4. These Terms remain permanently available for the User to consult, read, print and store from the sign-up screen and from the other interfaces of the Platform, in compliance with the duty to inform set out in Article 4(IV) of Decree No. 7,962/2013 and in Article 6(III) of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
2.5. By accepting these Terms, the User declares: (i) that they have legal capacity to contract or are duly represented or assisted pursuant to clause 5; (ii) that they have read, understood and fully accepted the content of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy; (iii) that the information provided on registration is true, accurate, current and complete; and (iv) that they will use the Platform in accordance with Applicable Law and with these Terms.
3. Purpose and description of the Service
3.1. The purpose of these Terms is to grant the User a licence to use the Platform, on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) basis, for the personal organisation of tasks and time management, under the conditions and within the limits set out herein.
3.2. As of the date of the last update of these Terms, the Platform comprises the following main features: (i) creation, editing, deletion and manual and automatic ordering of tasks, with due date and duration estimate; (ii) countdown and count-up timer linked to the running task, recording the time actually worked; (iii) a floating window always visible above other applications, in the desktop software; (iv) Pomodoro mode, with configurable focus blocks and breaks; (v) recurring tasks, with automatic generation of occurrences on days of the week or of the month defined by the User; (vi) synchronisation of User Content across the devices on which the Account is accessed; and (vii) preferences for language, visual theme, time format, sounds and notifications.
3.3. The Platform operates exclusively online. User Content is stored on servers operated by the Infrastructure Providers and reloaded each time the application is opened or the window regains focus. The absence of an internet connection prevents the creation and modification of tasks, and no local queue of operations is kept for later synchronisation.
3.4. The Provider may, at its discretion and at any time, improve, modify, replace, suspend or discontinue features of the Platform, including to meet technical, security, legal or regulatory requirements, provided that the essential characteristics of the contracted service are preserved during the current Billing Period. Changes that substantially reduce essential features will be notified reasonably in advance, and the User shall be entitled to terminate the Subscription with a proportional refund of the amounts paid and not used, pursuant to Article 19 of Directive (EU) 2019/770, where applicable.
3.5. The Platform is a personal organisation support tool and is not intended for storing documents, managing corporate projects with multiple users, keeping information subject to professional or regulatory secrecy, or for any critical purpose whose failure could result in harm to life, health, physical integrity or assets of significant value.
3.6. Any demonstration version that may be made available, which stores data exclusively on the User’s device, is provided for evaluation purposes, without any guarantee that the data entered will be preserved, and is not subject to the provisions of these Terms relating to synchronisation and cloud storage.
3.7. The features available in the desktop application and in the web application may differ owing to the technical limitations of each runtime environment, such as the absence of the always-visible floating window in the web application, and such differences shall not constitute a defect or breach of contract.
3.8. The time metrics displayed by the Platform, including time worked, remaining estimated time and overtime, are calculated on the basis of the server clock, adjusted for the difference relative to the device clock, and are intended exclusively for the User’s personal tracking; they are not suitable for monitoring working hours, billing hours to third parties or as evidence in administrative or judicial proceedings.
4. Registration, Account and Credentials
4.1. Access to the features of the Platform requires the creation of an Account by providing a name, a valid email address and a password of at least 6 (six) characters, followed by confirmation of the email address through a link sent by the Provider or, alternatively, by authenticating with a Google account.
4.2. The User undertakes to provide true, accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date, being liable under civil and criminal law for the accuracy of the data provided. The Provider may refuse, suspend or cancel any registration made with manifestly false or incomplete data or with data belonging to third parties, without prejudice to any applicable legal measures.
4.3. The Account is personal, individual and non-transferable, and the User may not assign, lend, rent, sell, share or otherwise make access to their Account available to third parties, whether free of charge or for consideration.
4.4. The User is solely responsible for the custody, confidentiality and proper use of their Credentials, as well as for all activities carried out through their Account, and acts performed using the correct Credentials are presumed to have been performed by the User. The use of a strong and unique password, not reused on other services, is recommended.
4.5. In the event of loss, theft, unauthorised access or suspected compromise of the Credentials, the User must immediately change their password, using the recovery feature available on the sign-in screen or in the Account settings, and notify the Provider at suporte@beedoit.app.
4.6. In the desktop application, the session token is stored in the operating system’s credential vault (Windows Credential Manager or macOS Keychain); in the web application, it is stored in the browser’s local storage mechanism. The User acknowledges that the security of these mechanisms also depends on the protection of the device itself, which is the User’s responsibility, including screen locking, operating system updates and the absence of malicious software.
4.7. Authentication through a third-party identity provider is additionally subject to the terms and policies of that provider, and the Provider shall not be liable for any unavailability, changes or failures attributable to it.
4.8. The User may not create more than one Account for the purpose of repeatedly obtaining new Trial Periods or circumventing access restrictions arising from Read-Only Mode.
4.9. The User may, at any time, change their name and password through the Account settings. Changing the email address linked to the Account, where available, shall require new confirmation through a link sent to the new address, as a security measure against account takeover.
4.10. Signing out on one device does not affect active sessions on other devices; the User must end them individually or change the password if unauthorised access is suspected. For security reasons, the Provider may invalidate active sessions and require new authentication, including after a password change or the detection of anomalous activity.
5. Use by children and adolescents
5.1. The Platform does not set a minimum age for use. Nevertheless, Users who have not reached the age of majority under the law of their country of habitual residence may only use the Platform with the knowledge, permission and supervision of at least one parent or legal guardian, who shall be liable, under civil law, for acts performed by the minor.
5.2. In accordance with Article 14 of the LGPD, personal data of children, meaning persons under 12 (twelve) years of age, will be processed with specific and prominent consent given by at least one parent or legal guardian. In accordance with Article 8 of the GDPR, in the Member States of the European Union, the processing of data of minors under 16 (sixteen) years of age, or such lower age, not below 13 (thirteen) years, as may be set by national law, requires consent given or authorised by the holder of parental responsibility.
5.3. A paid Subscription for a minor User must be purchased by their legal guardian, who shall act as the contracting party and holder of the payment method, assuming all resulting payment obligations.
5.4. The legal guardian may, at any time, request access to, correction or erasure of the personal data of the minor in their care, as well as the closure of the corresponding Account, by sending a request to suporte@beedoit.app together with information enabling reasonable verification of their status.
5.5. If the Provider becomes aware that a child’s data has been collected without the consent required by Applicable Law, it will take reasonable steps to obtain such consent or, if that is not possible, to erase the corresponding data.
5.6. The Provider does not verify Users’ age documentation at the time of registration and, for all purposes, presumes that the User completing the registration has full legal capacity or is duly authorised by their legal guardian, without prejudice to the measures set out in item 5.5 should the Provider become aware of a non-compliant situation.
6. Trial Period and Subscription
6.1. Every new Account is entitled to a single Trial Period of 7 (seven) consecutive days, counted from its creation, during which the User may use all features of the Platform without having to register a payment method and without any charge.
6.2. The Platform prominently displays the number of days remaining in the Trial Period and issues a notice when its end is approaching. Once the Trial Period ends without a Subscription being purchased, the Account automatically switches to Read-Only Mode, without any charge and without loss of User Content.
6.3. The Subscription may be purchased on a monthly or annual plan, according to the options, prices and conditions displayed on the plans screen at the time of purchase, with the payment flow carried out on a page hosted by the Payment Processor (Stripe Checkout).
6.4. The Subscription is entered into for an indefinite term, with automatic renewal at the end of each Billing Period for successive periods of equal duration, by means of recurring charges to the same payment method used for the purchase or to any other the User may register, until cancelled by the User pursuant to clause 8. The User declares that they have been clearly informed in advance of the recurring nature of the charge.
6.5. While the Subscription is active, the User shall have full access to the Platform. If a charge fails, access will be maintained during the period of automatic retries carried out by the Payment Processor, after which, if the default persists, the Account will switch to Read-Only Mode, pursuant to clause 7.
6.6. Read-Only Mode does not entail the deletion or loss of User Content, which will remain stored in accordance with the Privacy Policy and will become fully editable again once a Subscription is purchased or reinstated.
6.7. During the Trial Period and in Read-Only Mode, the Platform may display notices, information banners and screens offering the Subscription plans, which may be closed by the User and do not restrict viewing access to the User Content.
6.8. Switching between the monthly and annual plans, where available in the Customer Portal, will be processed by the Payment Processor according to the proration rules it applies, which will be shown to the User before the change is confirmed.
7. Payment, billing and default
7.1. Payments are processed exclusively by the Payment Processor, in its own environment certified under the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). Full payment card details are transmitted directly to the Payment Processor and are not transmitted to, accessed by or stored by the Platform or the Provider.
7.2. The Provider receives from the Payment Processor only the information strictly necessary to manage the Subscription, such as customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, start, renewal and end dates of the Billing Period and, where made available, the last four digits and the brand of the card.
7.3. The billing currency is determined by the Payment Processor based on the User’s location and may be the United States dollar, the euro or the Brazilian real, among others offered. Any currency conversion fees, financial transaction taxes or charges levied by the institution issuing the payment method are borne by the User and do not form part of the Subscription price.
7.4. Receipts and proofs of payment are issued by the Payment Processor and sent to the email address provided at purchase, and may be consulted at any time in the Customer Portal, accessible via Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription.
7.5. In the event of refusal, reversal, dispute (chargeback) or insufficient funds, the Payment Processor may make further collection attempts, and the User may update the payment method through the Customer Portal. If the default persists after the retry cycle ends, the Subscription shall be deemed expired and the Account will switch to Read-Only Mode, without prejudice to the collection of amounts due for the period actually made available.
7.6. Disputing a legitimate charge with the institution issuing the payment method, without first attempting to resolve the matter through the support channel, may result in the suspension of the Account until the corresponding review is concluded, without prejudice to the User’s rights under Applicable Law.
7.7. The Provider does not have access to all information relating to transactions processed by the Payment Processor and is not responsible for the risk assessment, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA, under Directive (EU) 2015/2366) or transaction refusal policies adopted by the Payment Processor or by issuing institutions.
7.8. Any amounts refunded to the User, in any of the cases provided for in these Terms, will be credited exclusively to the payment method used in the original transaction; refunds in cash, by bank transfer to third-party accounts or as credit to another payment method are not permitted, save where technically impossible and duly evidenced.
8. Cancellation of the Subscription
8.1. The User may cancel the Subscription at any time, without giving reasons, without penalty, without a minimum term and without having to contact support, through the Customer Portal, accessible via Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription, in compliance with Article 5(2) of Decree No. 7,962/2013.
8.2. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current Billing Period, preventing the subsequent automatic renewal. Until that date, the User shall retain full access to the Platform, and no proportional refund of the remaining days shall be due, save for the withdrawal cases provided for in clause 9 and the other cases expressly provided for in these Terms or in Applicable Law.
8.3. After the end of the cancelled Billing Period, the Account will switch to Read-Only Mode, with the User Content retained, which the User may delete at any time pursuant to clause 23.
8.4. Deleting the Account pursuant to clause 23 results in the immediate and automatic cancellation of the Subscription with the Payment Processor.
8.5. Cancelling the Subscription does not automatically delete the Account or the User Content. To have the data erased, the User must use the Account deletion feature provided for in clause 23 or, absent any new access, await the deletion period for inactive Accounts set out in the Privacy Policy.
8.6. A cancelled Subscription may be reactivated at any time, including before the end of the current Billing Period, in which case automatic renewal will be restored under the conditions in force at the time of reactivation.
9. Right of withdrawal and refunds
9.1. Consumer Users in Brazil: pursuant to Article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code and Article 5 of Decree No. 7,962/2013, the User may exercise the right of withdrawal within 7 (seven) calendar days of purchasing the Subscription, without giving any reason, in which case any amounts paid, on any account, will be refunded in full, adjusted for inflation.
9.2. Consumer Users in the European Union: pursuant to Articles 9 to 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU and the respective national transposing rules, the User has 14 (fourteen) days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from it, without giving any reason. Where the User has expressly requested that performance of the service begin during the withdrawal period, an amount proportionate to the service actually provided up to the communication of withdrawal may be deducted from the refund, pursuant to Article 14(3) of that Directive.
9.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the User must send an unequivocal statement to suporte@beedoit.app, from the email address linked to the Account, identifying the corresponding Subscription. The Provider will immediately acknowledge receipt of the statement, pursuant to Article 5(4) of Decree No. 7,962/2013.
9.4. The refund will be made to the same payment method used for the purchase, through the Payment Processor, within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of the statement, subject to the operational deadlines of the institution issuing the payment method for the credit to actually be posted, and will be notified to that institution so that the transaction is not posted to the statement or is reversed, pursuant to Article 5(3) of Decree No. 7,962/2013.
9.5. Consumer Users residing in other jurisdictions shall be guaranteed the withdrawal and refund rights provided for in the consumer protection legislation of their country of habitual residence, where mandatorily applicable.
9.6. Save for the cases provided for in this clause, in clause 3.4, in clause 23.4 and in mandatory Applicable Law, amounts paid for the Subscription, including those arising from automatic renewals, are non-refundable, in whole or in part, even if the User stops using the Platform during the Billing Period.
9.7. The right of withdrawal relates to the initial purchase of the Subscription and is not automatically renewed with each renewal of the Billing Period, save where the mandatory law of the User’s country of residence provides otherwise.
9.8. Abusive exercise of the right of withdrawal, meaning repeated purchase and withdrawal for the purpose of using the service free of charge, may result in the refusal of new purchases by the same User, without prejudice to the regular exercise of the right as provided by law.
10. Prices, taxes and adjustments
10.1. Plan prices are displayed on the Platform’s plans screen and on the Payment Processor’s payment page, in the currency corresponding to the User’s location, before purchase, with the billing frequency specified, in compliance with Article 2(IV) of Decree No. 7,962/2013.
10.2. Taxes applicable to the provision of the service will be included in or added to the price as required by the tax legislation of the User’s country of residence, including, where applicable, value added tax (VAT) on electronically supplied services to consumers in the European Union.
10.3. The Provider may change plan prices at any time by giving the User at least 30 (thirty) days’ prior notice, by email or by notice on the Platform. The new price will apply only from the first automatic renewal after the end of that period, and a User who does not agree may cancel the Subscription before the renewal at no cost.
10.4. Any promotions, discounts and special conditions granted shall be temporary and non-cumulative, unless expressly provided otherwise, and shall not create an acquired right to their maintenance on subsequent renewals, except where expressly stipulated in the respective offer.
10.5. Prices displayed in currencies other than the one in which the Provider records its revenue may be periodically reviewed due to significant exchange rate fluctuations, always subject to the prior notice procedure set out in item 10.3, with no adjustment applied to the current Billing Period.
11. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
11.1. The User undertakes to use the Platform in good faith, for lawful purposes, in accordance with Applicable Law, morality, public order and these Terms.
11.2. The User is expressly prohibited, directly or indirectly, personally or through a third party, from: (i) using the Platform to commit unlawful acts or to store unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory content, content that infringes third-party rights or that incites violence; (ii) accessing or attempting to access Accounts, data or systems of other Users or of the Provider without authorisation; (iii) performing scans, probes or vulnerability tests, including penetration tests, without the Provider’s prior express written authorisation; (iv) introducing viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs or any other malicious code; (v) carrying out denial-of-service attacks (DoS or DDoS) or any conduct that disproportionately overloads the Platform’s infrastructure; (vi) circumventing, disabling or interfering with the authentication, access control, update digital signature verification or billing mechanisms; (vii) decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering or attempting to extract the Platform’s source code, save where expressly permitted by mandatory rules; (viii) copying, modifying, adapting, translating, creating derivative works of, sublicensing, selling, reselling, renting, leasing or commercially exploiting the Platform, in whole or in part; (ix) using robots, scrapers, scripts or other automated means to access the Platform or extract data, except through the interfaces and in the manner expressly made available by the Provider; (x) removing, obscuring or altering copyright notices, trademarks or other distinctive signs; and (xi) using the Platform to develop a competing product or service.
11.3. Breach of this clause entitles the Provider to adopt, in proportion to the seriousness of the conduct, the measures provided for in clause 23, without prejudice to the civil and criminal liability of the offender and to notification of the competent authorities.
11.4. The Provider may implement reasonable technical usage limits, such as the maximum number of characters per field, of recurring tasks or of requests per time interval, intended to ensure the stability, security and performance of the Platform for all Users, which shall not constitute a restriction on the essential features contracted.
11.5. A User who identifies conduct by a third party in breach of this clause, or a vulnerability in the Platform, may report it to the Provider at suporte@beedoit.app; the report will be treated confidentially and no retaliation against a reporter acting in good faith is permitted.
12. User Content
12.1. The User is and shall remain the sole owner of the User Content, and the Provider acquires no ownership rights over it by virtue of these Terms.
12.2. For the sole purpose of providing the service, the User grants the Provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, non-transferable licence, except to the Infrastructure Providers to the extent strictly necessary, revocable upon deletion of the Account, to store, technically reproduce, process, transmit and display the User Content to the User on the devices on which the Account is accessed.
12.3. The Provider does not sell, assign or rent the User Content, nor use it for advertising, consumer profiling or training artificial intelligence models.
12.4. The User is fully responsible for the User Content, including its lawfulness, and undertakes not to enter on the Platform passwords, payment card numbers, special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 5(II) of the LGPD and Article 9 of the GDPR, or personal data of third parties whose processing is not legitimate.
12.5. The Provider does not moderate or monitor User Content in advance, but may take appropriate action in compliance with a court order, pursuant to Article 19 of the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet, or upon becoming unequivocally aware of manifestly unlawful content.
12.6. The User is advised to keep their own copies of information they consider relevant. Although the Provider makes periodic backups of the production databases, these are intended for disaster recovery and service continuity and are not suitable for the individual restoration of tasks deleted or modified by the User.
12.7. The deletion of a task or of a recurring task occurrence by the User is final. In the case of recurring tasks, the Platform records the date of the deleted occurrence so that it is not generated again, even if the recurrence rule is subsequently edited.
13. Intellectual property and licence to use
13.1. The Platform, including its source and object code, architecture, databases as works, interfaces, design, layout, graphic elements, illustrations, animations, texts, sounds, the Bee Do It brand, the bee logo and other distinctive signs, is protected by Brazilian Law No. 9,609/1998 (Software Law), Law No. 9,610/1998 (Copyright Law), Law No. 9,279/1996 (Industrial Property Law) and the applicable international treaties, and belongs exclusively to the Provider or its licensors.
13.2. Subject to these Terms, the Provider grants the User a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install the desktop application on their devices and access the Platform, exclusively for personal organisation purposes, while the Trial Period or the Subscription is in force and, in Read-Only Mode, for viewing the User Content.
13.3. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as an assignment, transfer or grant to the User of any intellectual property rights in the Platform beyond the licence expressly provided for in item 13.2, and the Provider reserves all rights not expressly granted.
13.4. The Platform may incorporate open-source software components licensed under their respective terms, which shall prevail in relation to such components to the extent that they grant the User broader rights.
13.5. Suggestions, comments, ideas and bug reports voluntarily sent by the User to the Provider may be freely used by the Provider to improve the Platform, without giving rise to any obligation of remuneration or attribution, subject to non-waivable moral rights.
13.6. The humorous images, illustrations and animations displayed on the Platform, including on the celebration screens, are used under licence or on the basis of the copyright exceptions and limitations provided for in applicable law, and the User may not extract or reuse them outside the context of the Platform.
14. Third-party services and content
14.1. The operation of the Platform depends on services provided by third parties, including the Infrastructure Providers, the Payment Processor, the identity provider used for Google account authentication, the typeface delivery service and the public repository that distributes the desktop application updates.
14.2. The use of third-party services, such as Stripe Checkout, the Customer Portal and Google account authentication, is also subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of the respective providers, which the User is advised to read.
14.3. The Provider selects its service providers on the basis of reputation, security and regulatory compliance criteria, but does not control their operation and is not liable for failures, unavailability or changes solely attributable to them, without prejudice to joint liability arising from the supply chain in the cases provided for in Applicable Law.
14.4. In the event of discontinuation, substantial change in commercial conditions or a security breach attributed to any essential provider, the Provider may replace it with another offering equivalent or greater security and data protection guarantees, updating the Privacy Policy accordingly, and such replacement shall not constitute a change to the contractual conditions to the User’s detriment.
15. Updates, versions and compatibility
15.1. The desktop application periodically checks, when opened and at regular intervals, for new versions published by the Provider, displaying a notice to the User with a description of what is new and the option to install. Installation takes place upon the User’s action, with the application restarting.
15.2. Update packages are digitally signed with a private cryptographic key held by the Provider, and the application only installs packages whose signature is validated by the public key embedded in it, as a measure of protection against the distribution of tampered versions.
15.3. The Provider may cease to support old versions of the application, operating system versions discontinued by their manufacturers or outdated browsers, and may make access to the Platform conditional on installing updates necessary for security, data integrity or compliance with legal obligations.
15.4. The desktop application installers may temporarily lack a code-signing certificate issued for the operating systems, in which case the system may display security warnings at initial installation, without affecting the cryptographic validation of updates provided for in item 15.2.
15.5. To the extent that Directive (EU) 2019/770 applies, the Provider will supply the updates, including security updates, necessary to keep the digital service in conformity throughout the term of the Subscription.
15.6. The release notes displayed in the update notice summarise the main changes introduced and do not constitute an exhaustive list of the technical modifications made, including security fixes whose detailed disclosure could expose Users to risk before the new version is widely adopted.
16. Availability and service levels
16.1. The Provider will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Platform available continuously, 24 (twenty-four) hours a day, 7 (seven) days a week, without, however, guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free availability, given the nature of the internet and the dependence on third-party services.
16.2. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, which will, whenever possible, be carried out at times of lower usage and announced in advance; emergency maintenance needed to fix failures or vulnerabilities; failures in the Infrastructure Providers’ services; failures in the User’s connection; or events of force majeure.
16.3. There is no service level agreement (SLA) providing financial compensation for unavailability, without prejudice to the rights guaranteed to the consumer User by Applicable Law in the event of a defect in the provision of the service.
16.4. The Provider will maintain backup routines and disaster recovery procedures commensurate with the size of the Platform, with the aim of restoring the service and data as quickly as reasonably possible in the event of a serious failure of the Infrastructure Providers, without this constituting a guarantee of any specific recovery point or recovery time.
16.5. In the event of prolonged unavailability preventing use of the Platform for more than 7 (seven) consecutive days, for reasons attributable to the Provider, a User with an active Subscription may request a free extension of the Billing Period for a period equivalent to the unavailability or a proportional refund of the corresponding amount.
17. Information security
17.1. The Provider adopts technical and administrative measures capable of protecting the User’s data and Content against unauthorised access and accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, communication or dissemination, including encryption in transit using the TLS protocol (HTTPS), row-level security (RLS) policies in the database, storage of passwords exclusively as salted cryptographic hashes, an authentication flow with PKCE, segregation of keys and secrets in the environment variables of cloud functions, and cryptographic validation of notifications received from the Payment Processor.
17.2. The client application uses only public access keys, while service keys and integration secrets are kept solely in server environments, inaccessible to the User and to third parties.
17.3. The User acknowledges that no computer system is absolutely invulnerable and undertakes to cooperate with the security of the Platform, keeping their devices protected and their Credentials confidential, and reporting to the Provider at suporte@beedoit.app any vulnerability or incident of which they become aware, refraining from exploiting it or disclosing it publicly before it is fixed (responsible disclosure).
17.4. Security incidents that may result in relevant risk or harm to data subjects will be handled and notified in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Applicable Law.
17.5. The Provider may adopt, preventively and proportionately, additional protective measures, such as requiring new authentication, invalidating sessions, temporarily limiting access attempts or preventively blocking the Account, whenever it identifies signs of unauthorised access, automated attack or compromise of the Credentials.
17.6. The User acknowledges that the desktop application runs with the permissions of the operating system user and that protecting the device against unauthorised physical or remote access, including through malicious software, screen sharing or remote access tools, is their sole responsibility.
18. Protection of personal data
18.1. The processing of the User’s personal data within the Platform is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms for all purposes and describes the categories of data processed, the purposes, the legal bases, the disclosures, the international transfers, the retention periods, the security measures and the data subject’s rights, as well as how to exercise them.
18.2. With regard to User Content that may contain personal data of third parties, the User acts as the party responsible for such processing, including as regards the existence of a legal basis, and the processing carried out by the Platform in that case is limited to the technical performance of the contracted service.
18.3. Pursuant to Article 4(I) of the LGPD and Article 2(2)(c) of the GDPR, the processing of personal data carried out by the User for purely personal and non-economic purposes falls outside the scope of those rules, without prejudice to the Provider’s obligations as controller of the User’s own personal data.
18.4. The Provider does not use the User Content or the User’s personal data to build behavioural profiles, display targeted advertising or sell to third parties, and does not incorporate into the Platform advertising network software development kits or third-party trackers for such purposes.
19. Representations and disclaimer of warranties
19.1. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Provider gives no warranties, express or implied, beyond those expressly provided for in these Terms and in mandatory legislation, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, absence of errors or uninterrupted operation.
19.2. The Provider does not warrant that the Platform will meet all of the User’s particular expectations or needs, that it will be compatible with all devices, operating systems, configurations or third-party software, or that use of the Platform will produce any specific result in terms of productivity, meeting deadlines or professional performance.
19.3. The motivational texts, tips, trivia and humorous images displayed on the Platform are purely recreational and informative and do not constitute professional, medical, psychological or any other kind of advice.
19.4. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits the statutory warranties of fitness, quality and conformity of the service guaranteed to consumers by Articles 18 to 25 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, by Directive (EU) 2019/770 or by other applicable public policy rules, which shall prevail in any event.
19.5. The information displayed by the Platform regarding deadlines, delays and automatic ordering of tasks results exclusively from the application of objective rules to the data entered by the User, and the User is responsible for checking the accuracy of the dates, estimates and priorities they have defined.
20. Limitation of liability
20.1. To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Provider shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, deadlines, goodwill or reputation, arising from or related to the use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
20.2. The Provider shall not be liable for damages arising: (i) solely from the fault of the User or of third parties, including misuse of the Credentials; (ii) from failures in the User’s devices, operating systems, networks or internet connections; (iii) from force majeure, pursuant to clause 22; (iv) from the User’s breach of these Terms; or (v) from decisions made by the User on the basis of information they themselves entered on the Platform.
20.3. To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Provider’s total aggregate liability to the User, for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform, regardless of the legal basis, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the User to the Provider in the 12 (twelve) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
20.4. The limitations set out in this clause do not apply: (i) to damages arising from wilful misconduct or gross negligence of the Provider; (ii) to death or personal injury; (iii) where Applicable Law prohibits the limitation or exclusion of liability, including the cases provided for in Articles 25 and 51(I) of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code; and (iv) to consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract.
20.5. The Provider shall not be liable for the loss or alteration of User Content resulting from actions of the User or of a third party who obtained access to the Account due to failure to safeguard the Credentials, including the deletion of tasks, the editing of recurrence rules or the deletion of the Account.
20.6. In the event of a defect in the provision of the service attributable to the Provider, the consumer User may require, alternatively and at their choice, the re-performance of the service, the immediate refund of the amount paid, adjusted for inflation, or a proportional price reduction, pursuant to Article 20 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and the equivalent remedies under the User’s applicable law.
21. Indemnification
21.1. The User undertakes to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider, its partners, directors, employees, service providers and licensors against any losses, damages, costs, expenses, fines and reasonable legal fees arising from third-party claims, actions or proceedings based on: (i) the User’s breach of these Terms; (ii) the User Content; or (iii) the User’s infringement of third-party rights or of Applicable Law.
21.2. The obligation set out in this clause is conditional upon proof of the User’s fault, timely notification of the claim by the Provider and the opportunity for the User to participate in the defence, and does not apply to the consumer User to the extent that it conflicts with public policy rules.
21.3. The Provider, in turn, shall be liable to the User for damages caused by its breach of these Terms or of Applicable Law, within the limits and under the conditions set out in clause 20, and will defend the User against third-party claims alleging that the regular use of the Platform in accordance with these Terms infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
22. Force majeure
22.1. Neither Party shall be liable for failure or delay in the performance of its obligations where caused by unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure, pursuant to Article 393 of the Brazilian Civil Code and equivalent rules, including, without limitation, natural disasters, epidemics, wars, acts of terrorism, strikes, acts of government authority, widespread power or telecommunications outages, large-scale cyberattacks that could not reasonably have been prevented and widespread failures of Infrastructure Providers.
22.2. The affected Party shall notify the other Party of the occurrence as soon as possible and use reasonable efforts to mitigate its effects and resume performance. If the event persists for more than 30 (thirty) consecutive days, the User may terminate the Subscription with a proportional refund of the amounts paid and not used.
23. Suspension, termination and deletion of the Account
23.1. The User may, at any time and without giving reasons, delete their Account through Settings → Delete account. Deletion is irreversible and results in: (i) the immediate erasure of the Account, the profile and all User Content from the production systems; (ii) the automatic and immediate cancellation of the Subscription with the Payment Processor; and (iii) the termination of the session on all devices. Backup copies are erased within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.
23.2. The Provider may suspend, in whole or in part, access to the Account, or terminate it, by giving the User prior notice stating the reason, whenever reasonably possible, in the event of: (i) breach of these Terms, in particular clause 11; (ii) well-founded suspicion of fraud, unauthorised use or compromise of the Account; (iii) legal requirement or order of a competent authority; or (iv) risk to the security or integrity of the Platform or of other Users.
23.3. In the case of remediable breaches, the Provider will grant the User a reasonable period to remedy them before the definitive termination of the Account. Preventive suspension due to imminent security risk may be applied immediately, with subsequent notification.
23.4. If the Account is terminated on the Provider’s initiative through no fault of the User, including the definitive discontinuation of the Platform, the Provider will refund the User the amount proportional to the period paid and not used and, whenever technically feasible, will give at least 30 (thirty) days’ notice of the termination.
23.5. Accounts that remain without any access for a period of 2 (two) consecutive years may be deleted, subject to prior notice sent to the registered email address at least 30 (thirty) days in advance, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
23.6. The provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive their termination, including those relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law and jurisdiction, shall remain in force after the Account is closed.
23.7. Suspension of the Account on the Provider’s initiative does not suspend the running of the Billing Period, unless the suspension results from a failure or error attributable to the Provider itself, in which case the corresponding period will be credited to the User.
23.8. Upon termination of the Account for any reason, the licence granted in clause 13 and the right to access the Platform cease immediately, and the User must refrain from using the copies of the desktop application installed on their devices for any purpose, and may uninstall them at any time.
24. Changes to these Terms
24.1. The Provider may amend these Terms at any time, including due to changes in Applicable Law, technological developments, the inclusion of new features or changes in the business model, the date of the last update being indicated at the top of the document.
24.2. Substantial changes, meaning those that restrict the User’s rights or extend the User’s obligations, will be notified at least 30 (thirty) days in advance, by email or by a prominent notice on the Platform, clearly indicating the modifications introduced.
24.3. Continued use of the Platform after the new version comes into force shall constitute acceptance of the changes. If the User does not agree with the changes, the User may cancel the Subscription and delete the Account before they come into force, at no cost, and, in the case of a substantial change to the User’s detriment during the current Billing Period, shall be refunded the amount proportional to the unused period.
24.4. Changes arising from legal or regulatory requirements, or necessary for the security of the Platform, may come into force within a shorter period where so required.
24.5. The version of these Terms in force will remain available for consultation from the sign-up screen, and previous versions may be requested from the Provider at suporte@beedoit.app, for the purpose of verifying the conditions applicable at the time of a given event.
25. Communications and notices
25.1. Communications from the Provider to the User will preferably be made by email to the address linked to the Account or by notices displayed on the Platform, and shall be deemed received on the date of sending or display, respectively.
25.2. The User is responsible for keeping the email address linked to the Account up to date and for periodically checking their inbox, including spam folders, and may not claim ignorance of communications duly sent to the registered address.
25.3. Communications from the User to the Provider must be sent to suporte@beedoit.app, preferably from the email address linked to the Account, for the purpose of verifying the identity of the requester.
25.4. Communications relating to the exercise of the right of withdrawal, cancellation, complaints and the exercise of data subject rights will be answered by email, preferably in the same language used by the User in the communication, among the languages supported by the Platform.
26. General provisions

26.3. No waiver: any omission or tolerance by either Party in requiring compliance with the provisions of these Terms shall not constitute novation, waiver or precedent, nor affect the right to require such compliance at any time.
26.4. Assignment: the User may not assign or transfer the rights and obligations arising from these Terms without the Provider’s prior consent. The Provider may assign its contractual position to a third party, including as a result of a merger, demerger, incorporation or transfer of business, upon notice to the User, provided that the conditions agreed herein and the data subject’s rights are maintained.
26.5. No relationship: these Terms do not create between the Parties any corporate, associative, representation, mandate, agency or employment relationship.
26.6. Language: these Terms are made available in the languages supported by the Platform. In the event of discrepancy between versions, the version in the language selected by the User shall prevail, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
26.7. Electronic records: the Parties acknowledge the validity, effectiveness and evidentiary value of the electronic records kept by the Platform and by the Payment Processor, pursuant to Article 10(2) of Brazilian Provisional Measure No. 2,200-2/2001 and equivalent legislation.
26.8. Accessibility: the Provider endeavours to ensure that the Platform follows good digital accessibility practices, including accessible labels for screen readers, keyboard navigation and adequate contrast between text and background, and the User may report accessibility barriers at suporte@beedoit.app.
26.9. Sanctions and export controls: the User declares that they are not subject to economic or trade sanctions imposed by international bodies or by States that prevent the contracting of the services of the Infrastructure Providers or of the Payment Processor, and the Provider is authorised to refuse or terminate the provision of the service to the extent required by such rules.
27. Governing law and jurisdiction
27.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [A PREENCHER].
27.2. The courts of [A PREENCHER] shall have jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising from these Terms, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged.
27.3. Notwithstanding items 27.1 and 27.2, if the User is a consumer, they shall be guaranteed: (i) the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence, pursuant to Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I), where applicable; and (ii) the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their domicile, pursuant to Article 101(I) of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012, where applicable.
